The roster is built by pulling players from the Dedicated Player Program.

Training Block 1: September – December

  • Training session locations –
  • 2 Training sessions per week (Technical and SSG incorporated)
    • 75 mins training sessions
  • 1x Tournament

Training Block 2: January  – March

  • Training session locations –
  • 2 Training sessions per week (Technical and SSG incorporated)
    • 75 mins training sessions
  • 1x Festival

Learning Objectives

Physical Development:
Develop speed, agility, coordination and balance

Technical:
Improve individual and collective basic techniques
Improve possession and transition

Psychosocial:
Positive learning environment
Interact positively and feel confident within the group, creating a challenging learning environment

Tactical:
Creating space and applying basic principles

Social/Emotional:
Increase confidence with the ball & playing with teammates
Cooperation with teammates in collective tasks during practice

Primary Learning Outcomes

  1. Stopping and Running with the ball at speed
  2. Moving forward when attacking and retreating when defending,
  3. Basic quick movements with and without the ball
