Westhills FC
Westhills Football Club is a community-based soccer club that is in the process of applying to be a not for profit organisation.
We offer new, emerging and club level players (between the ages of 2 and 12) a grassroots soccer development program. Our goals are to:
- help remove barriers that prevent kids from participating in community programs
- increase overall physical activity by developing good physical literacy and fundamental movement skills, and
- introduce more kids to the sport of soccer
Westhills FC is affiliated to Westcastle International Academy.
Westcastle International Academy
Founded in 2019, Westcastle International Academy is a soccer club located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
WIA is a new member of the Lower Island Youth Soccer Association and the Pacific Coast Soccer League and affiliated with the Canadian Soccer Association.
Since it’s inception, WIA has played an important role in providing high calibre soccer development to international and domestic student athletes (13 years and older) and Grassroots programs for children ages 3-12 years. WIA provides a comprehensive programming with a primary focus on individual development and team competition.
“We need to develop individual players so that each player within our Academy has her/his own individual plan in order to take the next steps needed to play at their highest level. We use our Academy team more or less not to win games but to try to develop as many individual players as possible.” –Eddie Mukahanana, Technical Director
